Until someone else's fear became louder than your own knowing.
Now it's 1am. Your hand on your belly. Googling every symptom, every complication ~ looking for reassurance, but finding more reasons to be afraid, and you can't tell whose fear this even is anymore.
The woman who trusted herself is still there. She just got drowned out.
Trusting Your Birth is where you find her again.
Begin trusting your birth ↓~ Mothered by Truth
You've read the studies. You've got seventeen tabs open right now. Maybe you've had a provider tell you what's best for your body before you've even asked. You're not short on information.
What's actually happening is bigger than that. At the most primal moment of your life, you're handing your power to a room full of strangers ~ because somewhere along the way, you forgot that power was always yours to keep.
So you keep researching, not because the next article holds the answer, but because some part of you is hoping it'll finally hand you back that permission. It won't. That was never where it lived. It was never anyone else's to give you in the first place.
Maybe you've read the birth books. Followed the accounts. Made the list of questions to bring to your next appointment. All of it sensible. None of it has actually made the fear go quiet.
That's not a you problem. That's because almost everything out there is built to hand you more information ~ another study, another checklist, another expert's opinion to weigh against your own. But you were never short on opinions to weigh. You were short on someone showing you how to trust the one voice you already had before any of this started.
I'm not going to hand you more information to research. I'm going to show you how to trust the thing your body already knows ~ because I trusted mine when the stakes were my own literal children, and it never once let me down.
I learned to trust my body the hard way. Because at first I didn't, and it cost me tremendously.
A termination I didn't want. A hospital birth where I was told to end that pregnancy too, and I said no. Four home births since. The last one at 42, knowing exactly what loss costs, and choosing to trust myself anyway.
Every time I handed my knowing over to someone else, I lost something. Every time I trusted my own body instead, I was right. This isn't theory for me. It's the only thing I've ever staked everything on ~ and it's never once let me down.
That way of moving wasn't always mine. It was cultivated through loss, refined through experience, through watching my body know things no one taught it to know, again and again, in ways too precise to be chance.
For the woman who's pregnant right now and can't hear her own voice over everyone else's. Who's gotten the raised eyebrow. The "are you sure it's worth the risk?" The "let's be realistic."
Ten episodes. My story, told in order ~ loss, birth, motherhood, and the work of remembering what was mine to trust all along.
Not information. Not another checklist. A woman walking you through what it actually looks like to trust your own knowing ~ at the moment it matters most.
See what's inside ↓The birth stories, the horror stories, the "just in case you didn't know" comments from strangers.
At your last appointment, you nodded along. Said "okay" to things you weren't sure about ~ because in that moment, facing your doctor, you didn't know how to hold your ground. You didn't want to come across as challenging their expertise for asking too many questions, or feel like a bad mom for declining their recommendation. It's only in the car after, driving home, that you replay it ~ rehearsing everything you meant to say, the version of you that spoke up.
And it's not just the doctors. It's your mother-in-law's face when you mentioned wanting to go unmedicated. It's your coworker asking "are you sure that's safe?" like she already knew the answer was no. Even the people who love you most seem to need convincing.
You had a plan. You were so sure of it. But the moment someone's face changed, even just slightly, you found yourself backing away from your own decisions.
And at night, the loop starts. Is this crazy? Is this even safe? Am I being selfish for wanting this?
You've read everything there is to read. And you still don't trust yourself. You don't yet know that that's the whole problem.
It's 1am again. Maybe you're still awake ~ but this time you're scrolling birth stories because they light you up, not because you're hunting for what could go wrong. You already know what you're choosing. You're just enjoying watching someone else live it.
At your appointment, the doctor names an intervention. And something in your gut already says no. You don't freeze. You don't nod along and rehearse the real answer in the car. You say it, right there in the room, and it lands. You walk out of that appointment steady.
Your mother-in-law raises an eyebrow. Your coworker asks if you're sure. And none of it moves you ~ because you already know your non-negotiables before you ever walk into that conversation. You're not combative. You're not difficult. You're just anchored. You walk away from that conversation just as steady as you walked out of the appointment.
Nineteen, alone, handed a story about what a termination would fix. I believed it. It broke something instead. You'll hear what no one tells you before a decision like this ~ not to change your mind, but so that whatever you choose, you choose it with your eyes open, not someone else's.
Pregnant again, offered the same "solution." This time, what I'd already lived was louder than what I was being told. I said no. You'll see what it looks like when your own lived experience outweighs an expert's opinion ~ because once you've paid a price, you can't be talked into paying it again.
A birth plan called unrealistic. Strapped to a bed for nearly a day. A baby taken from me too soon. The moment I said out loud that something about the whole system was wrong ~ and the door that opened after. That feeling you get in those appointments isn't made up. It's there for a purpose ~ that's your instinct speaking. You'll learn to stop overriding it. Lean into it and turn it up.
My daughter, Cebrie, and the three years I had with her. Choosing to care for her myself, at home, rather than hand that care to a facility. You'll see that a financial sacrifice is a worthy one when it means being present for your child. No caretaker can replace that bond.
What I said yes to, what I said no to, and what I only understood in hindsight. The beginning of trusting my own read over a room full of specialists. Good intentions aren't enough. A specialist can mean well, and their recommendation still might not be right for your child ~ only you can tell the difference.
Everything Episode Three wasn't. Warm. Connected. My body's feedback, not my body's failure. The first time I felt like a warrior woman. You'll feel what it's like to let your body lead instead of fighting it ~ even the pain, which isn't something to fear, but a signal guiding you closer to your baby.
No one loves your child like you do. You'll walk away knowing a credential was never supposed to outrank your intuition when it comes to your child.
An unexpected pregnancy, the fear that came with it, and the birth that followed ~ two pushes, my husband catching our baby before the midwife arrived. You'll see that fear and trust can exist in the same moment ~ and that choosing trust is always available to you, no matter what stage of motherhood you're in.
The identity hinge of the whole series. Permission isn't given. You stop asking for it. You'll stop waiting for someone else to sign off on your choices ~ because you'll finally see the permission was always yours to give.
What it actually means to be ready ~ not having every answer, but knowing who you'll be before the first contraction starts. Closes with a blessing that's yours to keep.
This is where you write down what you actually want, in your own hand ~ not someone else's checklist, your own words, your own answers, in black and white in front of you. Each episode comes with a prompt to sit with, open space for whatever you're feeling that day, a coloring page section for when your mind won't stop, and a collection of affirmations to keep you anchored ~ ready to print or photograph.
Formatted and yours to keep. A moment to return to whenever you need to remember why you chose this.
Before Episode One begins ~ my voice, before the intensity starts, so you know exactly who you're trusting with the next ten episodes.
A short list of what influenced my own journey ~ the books, documentaries, and resources that helped shape my confidence and my outlook on health and raising children.
The identity hinge of the whole series, yours to reread on its own, separate from the audio, whenever you need reminding of what's already yours.
There's no library of reviews yet. No stranger's story to point to and say, look what it did for her. What I have instead is my own life ~ everything you just read, everything inside these ten episodes, lived and survived and trusted through.
Episodes are recorded and delivered as you go, and I'll always stay ahead of you ~ your next episode ready before you need it. You're not waiting on a finished product. You're getting in at the beginning, alongside a woman still living what she's teaching.
The founding round is $197. After it closes, Trusting Your Birth moves to $297. This is the only time it's $197.
Join the founding round ↓Nothing you've tried has worked, and I understand why you'd expect this to be the same. Here's the difference: you've researched all of it, and you still don't trust yourself. That's not a research problem. I'm not giving you more to know. I'm giving you my life ~ a woman who trusted her body when the stakes were her own children, and it's never once let me down. That's not a promise. That's proof.
Because trusting your own knowing doesn't end at delivery. It's the thing you'll need again at the next appointment, the next decision, the next moment someone else is confident about your body and your baby. This isn't a birth prep course. It's about becoming the woman who trusts herself first ~ and you'll need her for a long time after this baby arrives.
This isn't one more thing to do. It's ten episodes to listen to while you fold laundry, nurse, drive, or lie awake at 1am already scrolling. Nothing to complete, nothing to keep up with. Just my voice, when you have a few minutes for it.
I know. And you'll spend more than this on a stroller you'll use for two years. Everything else on your list is for the baby. This is the one thing that's for you ~ an investment in the mother you're becoming, not just the baby you're bringing into the world. And unlike almost everything else you're buying right now, this doesn't get outgrown.
You've been waiting to feel ready your whole life. Readiness doesn't come before the work. It comes from doing the work. You don't have to be ready. You just have to press play. It fits into the life you're already living ~ in the car, doing the dishes, folding laundry. Just press play, wherever you happen to be.
The woman who trusts her own body isn't someone you have to become. She's already in you.
Trusting Your Birth ~ $197, founding round.
